Lots of good and exciting news out there. First up, I mixed the 1-hour documentary Ice Warriors for PBS, about the USA Mens Paralympic Sled Hockey team. As somebody who loves hockey, and also loves the Olympics (I was in Vancouver for the 2010 games) and everything the Olympic Spirit embodies, it was a real pleasure to sound edit and mix this inspirational film. It premieres Monday February 24th at 10/9c nationally on PBS as part of their Medal Quest series.
Next up the short film I mixed called Easy will be premiering at this year’s SXSW. This makes it the 3rd year running I’ve had a film in that festival, and movies now in 5 out of the last 7 years, which I’m quite proud of.
The feature film Cement Suitcase I sound edited and mixed last year was the headlining feature on Creative Cow Magazine last week, where I was profiled for my sound work on that movie. In addition the film is set to release on iTunes, Amazon and VOD everywhere else March 1st via Gravitas Ventures.
Current projects include video game sound design, as well as 3 features back-to-back in the pipeline, as well as some additional great announcements, but I’ve got to keep all those details under wrap for now. Looking forward to more posts on here soon where I can put up more info!!
